Thanks for checking out Bear Creek Christian Church! We are a non-denominational church, started in the Fall of 2009 with a variety of different people. Honestly, we are a bunch of imperfect people. You don’t have to have your life all together to attend Bear Creek because none of us have our lives all together! Jesus Christ is the only hope that we have for healing and wholeness. We gather together to celebrate that hope and to encourage one another in life. That’s why we like to say, “No perfect people allowed."

We don’t offer a ton of programs, but rather focus on something even more important, being a community of people who will love and encourage you in life. The only way we can experience life to the fullest is if we get real with ourselves, with each other, and with God. For way to long, we have been trying to do it on our own, only to end up failing over and over again. We need others in our lives, especially God’s people. No matter what your age, race, or economic status, we invite you to join us in "doing life together!"

We also believe God has wired us to serve others, especially the economically poor, our at-risk neighbors, and friends struggling in life. When Jesus told us to love our neighbors, "as we love ourselves," we believe he really meant it. If you are ready to roll up your sleeves and change the world, then you're at the right place! We want to share the love of Jesus Christ through practical helps, listening ears, and words of hope. Since we are all in recovery because of what sin has done, we want to bear each others burdens and be a place of grace!
